Under direction of the Director of Customer Programs, the Customer Programs Manager manages the development, implementation and coordination of assigned demand side management programs, contracts, and budgets and the technical aspects of the demand side management programs for MCE. The Customer Programs Manager will assist the Director of Customer Programs in the implementation of demand side management programs tailored to residential and non-residential customers in MCE service territory. The incumbent ensures that assigned programs achieve strategic objectives and priorities by evaluating and developing new business and partnership opportunities, negotiating contracts, managing activities of sub-contractors, interacting with the other MCE departments, the MCE Board of Directors and its committees and interfacing with partner agencies and stakeholder groups.

Under supervision of the Director of Customer Programs and/or the Customer Programs Manager, the Customer Programs Specialist I supports the development, implementation and coordination of multiple energy efficiency and other integrated demand side management (IDSM) activities. The Customer Programs Specialist I may interface with other partner agencies and stakeholder groups, coordinate activities of sub-contractors, and interact with a wide range of customers groups, and perform other related tasks as assigned.
