$1 Million Available in Community Grants from PG&E to Support Climate Change Resilience Planning

PG&E has announced plans to award $1 million to support local climate change resilience planning. Two grants of $100,000 will be awarded per year for five years beginning in 2017. Read more about his exciting announcement at PG&E Currents. Grant proposals will be assessed according to the following criteria:

  • Replicability: the extent to which others can learn from and adopt the strategies and solutions
  • Partnerships: the extent to which the grant proposal reflects a multi-organizational and collaborative effort
  • Disadvantaged communities: the extent to which the grant proposal and partnership focuses on disadvantaged communities and identified needs
