4/25 CEC Workshop: Lead Commissioner Technology Merit Review Workshop: Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Project Success

As shared on the CEC’s website, Lead Commissioner for Transportation of the California Energy Commission Janea A. Scott will conduct a Technology Merit Review workshop April 25th at 9:00am to highlight key ingredients for successful development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects in California funded by the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program (ARFVTP). Commissioner Scott will preside over the workshop and other Commissioners may attend.

From the presentations shared to date – including best practices and lessons learned from SMUD charger deployments, Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) infrastructure rollout, the Burbank Water Power Charging Program, the residential Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) program status, and findings from the approach used by the nonprofit Adopt-a-Charger – this promises to be a dynamic workshop full of useful information for local governments and entities working on electric vehicle deployment strategies.
