ASHRAE’s Spring 2016 course list is now available on ASHRAE’s website. Course topics range from building commissioning best practices, to responsible implementation of air recovery (a very cost-effective way to reduce conditioning needs), to combined heat and power (CHP), and, for the first time, a course on using variable refrigerant flow (VRF).
For those not already familiar, ASHRAE is a leading source of information on the built environment. ASHRAE also sets important standards for building/equipment efficiency and operations (such as ASHRAE 90.1, covering energy efficiency in buildings, ASHRAE 202 covering commissioning/RCx, or ASHRAE 62.1 and 62.2, which cover building ventilation), which support state and local policies and codes and standards development.
