CCEC (formerly the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative) is an initiative originally directed by the California Public Utilities Commission in 2009 and implemented by CivicWell (formerly Local Government Commission). It is now funded by the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN), the Central California Rural Regional Energy Network, the Inland Regional Energy Network, the Northern Rural Energy Network, the Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3C-REN), the San Diego Regional Energy Network, and the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN), along with other sponsors and revenues.
