“The California Community Colleges Board of Governors has honored Butte College for its work on an energy and sustainability project.
At a meeting last week, the board named Butte College and five other community colleges winners of the annual Energy and Sustainability Award Competition.
The board in 2012 established the awards to recognize leadership in implementing goals set forth in Proposition 39, also known as the California Clean Energy Jobs Act. The act seeks to improve energy efficiency and expand clean energy generation in schools.”
