News

The California Alternative Energy and Advanced Transportation Financing Authority (“CAEATFA“) is issuing a Notice of Public Workshop for the third in a series of educational workshops on criteria for a comparative assessment of energy efficiency financing programs in California. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM (PST) at 915 Capitol Mall, Room 587, Sacramento, CA 95814, and will feature presentations on the evaluation efforts of various PACE financing programs.

As shared by CAEATFA:

As part of the 2015-16 Budget Package, the California Legislature tasked CAEATFA with creating a working group to develop criteria for a comparative assessment of California energy efficiency financing programs, including Property Assessed Clean Energy (“PACE”) financing, utility on-bill financing, and the CHEEF pilot programs. (Supplemental Report of the 2015-16 Budget Package, Item 0971-001-0528.)

Over the next several months, CAEATFA will be hosting a series of public workshops to present and solicit feedback on potential criteria for a comparative assessment of California energy efficiency financing programs, culminating with a public meeting of the working group. CAEATFA will publish a summary of the issues discussed and the recommendations made by the working group.
