Cottonwood Creek Apartments is a 94-unit affordable housing complex in Suisun City, California, the first in Solano County with photovoltaic panels. In addition to energy efficiency, this project incorporates high-efficiency water systems, sustainable building materials, a solar-powered community building, ENERGY STAR® appliances, pedestrian-friendly walkways, and a bio-retention basin to treat stormwater runoff, amongst many other green measures, and exceeds energy code by 17.6%.
