Under the guidance of the Delta Stewardship Council (Council) and Executive Officer, the Chief Deputy Executive Officer (Chief Deputy) is responsible for directing internal operations, including oversight on policy development, execution of annual priorities, day-to-day functions, and external communications to ensure the Council is able to carry out its mission of achieving the coequal goals, as defined in the 2009 Delta Reform Act. The Chief Deputy manages a complex budget from multiple funding sources and is responsible for upholding standards of practice and quality in the development and delivery of policy and technical products in pursuit of the Council’s mission.
