The City of Jackson’s City Council has adopted its new Energy Action Plan, available here. The Plan features strategies to find energy and cost savings, including utilization of existing Sierra Nevada Energy Watch commercial sector programs and Energy Upgrade California for residential programming, promotion of on-bill financing and PACE financing to support energy improvements, development of a renewable energy program for solar photovoltaics and solar hot water, benchmarking of municipal facilities, and purchases of ENERGY STAR-rated equipment.
The Energy Action Plan was produced by the Sierra Business Council with support from PG&E.
