Join a webinar to learn about BAAQMD’s new Technology Implementation Office (TIO) and the financing tools being offered to local governments. TIO is catalyzing innovation to combat climate change by incentivizing disruptive, low‐cost technologies that reduce GHG emissions for mobile and stationary sources.
Lucian Go of TIO will present on the Climate Tech Finance program, which is offering low-interest financing and technical guidance to public sector facilities and small businesses to spur the adoption of emerging technologies that reduce GHG emissions. Through the program, public facilities can apply for subsidized loans from $500k to $30 million, with up to 30-year terms. BAAQMD also provides engineering evaluations and technical assistance to borrowers to support loan projects. Public facilities, including municipalities, universities, schools, and hospitals, are eligible to apply.
