Contribution Analysis Toolkit Launch Part 1 – July 18

Join ICLEI-USA and community team members to learn about the latest methodologies for measuring performance in greenhouse gas inventories by analyzing major external factors that determine year-to-year results.

Supported by a financial assistance award from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Cities Leading through Energy Analysis and Planning (Cities-LEAP) project and led by the City of Bellevue, Washington, ICLEI-USA worked with a steering committee of communities, including King County, Washington; Aspen, Colorado; Santa Monica, California; Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments; and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission to create a new toolkit that will enable any city tracking community-wide energy and emissions over time to look at those results in a new light and better prioritize future actions based on past performance.

Attendees will learn about the Cities-LEAP project, how the toolkit was developed, and the results of trials with steering committee members and other pilot communities. Attendees will also learn about upcoming training opportunities to ensure they can successfully apply the analysis on their own.
