The below is a special request and opportunity to participate in a survey to inform the Energy Data Access Committee (EDAC) of local government energy data experiences: specifically, in climate action plan development.
(Anyone not familiar with the EDAC can refer to Section 9 of this CPUC Decision, and/or review highlights from the last quarterly meeting of interest to local government here.)
EDAC Survey of Local Government CAP and GHG Inventory Data Access Needs
Survey Link: http://sgiz.mobi/s3/
The purpose of this survey is to help the Energy Data Access Committee (EDAC) understand how the current rules governing utility data access align with the data needs of local governments’ in their efforts to complete Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories – and ultimately Climate Action Plans (CAPs). The Energy Data Access Committee (EDAC) was formed to advise the CPUC about energy data access policy and practice. The EDAC consists of state energy regulators (CPUC & CEC), California’s four investor-owned utilities, local governments, universities, and non-profit organizations.
It should take approximately 6 minutes to complete this survey, and it will help inform our understanding of how existing data access policies are impacting local government’s efforts to complete GHG inventory and implement CAPs. Thank you in advance for your time!
