Due to increasingly stringent policy direction, public agencies that previously leveraged ratepayer-funded utility energy efficiency incentive programs to bridge funding gaps are meeting new obstacles. These incentive programs have provided critical support to local governments with great success, but increasingly burdensome documentation, expiring measures, and expanding delays in incentive review processes are threatening the momentum of energy efficiency projects in the public sector.
This webinar will serve as an educational forum for sharing dialogue among local government customers, energy efficiency program implementers, IOU program administrators and California Public Utilities Commission staff with the overall goal of communicating perspectives from all stakeholders.
