EPA is inviting nominations for additional new members to fill four new vacancies for terms through September, 2019. The deadline for applications is April 13, 2018, with appointments expected in October 2018.
Established in 1993, the NEJAC provides advice and recommendations about broad, cross-cutting issues related to environmental justice to the EPA Administrator. New members serve for a two-year term.
To maintain the representation outlined by the charter, nominees will be selected to represent: academia (2 vacancies), business and industry (1 vacancy), and state and local government (1 vacancy).
