EV Charging Stations Installed and Operational at Cupertino Library

As part of the CEC-funded Bay Area Charge Ahead Project, the City of Cupertino has installed two EV Chargepoint Level 2 charging stations at its library. The Project plans on installing charging stations in 152 Bay Area high-priority, high congestion areas.

The Bay Area has a goal of 100,000 electric vehicles on the road by 2020. There are currently close to 40,000, with 2,500 charging stations. Read more on the installation and Bay Area EV plans from Prospect Silicon Valley.
