HVAC Control Engineer, Facilities Services – UC Berkeley

University of California, Berkeley Building Energy Management Systems (EMS) consists of Automated Logic and Barrington Control Systems. The position of HVAC Control Engineer is responsible for the day to day operation and maintenance of both systems installed in over 100 facilities at Berkeley Campus.

Barrrington Control System was adopted at Berkeley Campus over 30 years ago as the standard Building Automation System. Barrington Systems devices and subcomponents are not in production any more. We heavily depend on our In-House staff to maintain complicated electronic systems due to availability of spare parts and lack of documentation. Automated Logic is the Campus Building Automation system installed in over 30 facilities on Campus.
