The City of Cupertino is seeking a six-month contract Chief Executive Officer to help launch the region’s newest Joint Powers Authority, on behalf of the Silicon Valley Community Choice Energy Partnership (SVCCEP). This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction to the formational Silicon Valley Clean Energy Authority (SVCEA), scheduled to provide cleaner, greener energy at competitive rates to participating customers by the winter of 2016/17. Interested and qualified candidates, evaluated based upon the RFQ, should send a curriculum vitae and letter of intent to erinc@cupertino.org no later than Monday, March 7th, 2016. Candidates submissions will be reviewed by SVCCEP’s executive leadership team, consisting of City Mangers from partner agencies, and relevant industry experts. Interviews will be conducted by this team in mid-March, with final interviews and contractor selection to be made by the Board in early April. Compensation will depend on experience/qualifications.
