Introducing the California Climate and Energy Collaborative (CCEC)!

New Name – Same Services!

We are excited to announce the launch of the California Climate and Energy Collaborative (CCEC), a new initiative implemented by the Local Government Commission and sponsored by the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN), the Tri-County Regional Energy Network (3C-REN), and the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SoCalREN)!

While we are introducing a new look and name, CCEC will offer many of the same services provided by the Local Government Commission and the Best Practices Coordinator as part of the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative (SEEC), which sunsetted at the end of 2020 after 11 successful years.

What to expect this year

2021 Statewide Climate & Energy Forum

The 2021 Statewide Climate & Energy Forum (CCEC Forum) will continue providing a space for local governments to learn, network, collaborate and receive targeted support to advance clean energy and climate action solutions.

CCEC Forum planning has already begun! Your input is needed to inform this year’s program! Please fill out this pre-forum survey by March 31, 2021

Statewide Best Practices Coordinator (BPC)

CCEC’s BPC, Angie Hacker, will fulfill technical assistance requests and share valuable information to local governments through the wEEkly update, CURRENTS quarterly newsletter, best practices database, technical assistance directory, local government roundtables, mentorship calls and webinars along with additional new resources and tools.
