1310 Public Relations Assistant

Under direct supervision, the Public Relations Assistant (PRA) provides general communications support for the SFPUC’s CleanPowerSF Communications team. As part of the team, the individual will support community engagement initiatives, scheduling for community activities and attendance at community meetings, fairs, festivals and events. The position will also help with communication and media logistics (sending out press releases, preparation for events, etc.) and will support content development for websites, social media pages, collateral items and other materials. The PRA will be expected to assist in the organization of San Francisco neighborhoods and communities, specifically, the Latino community, the Bayview community and the Chinese-American community. Foreign language skills (Spanish, Chinese and other) are a plus.  Finally, the position will be required to work weekends and nights as needed.
