Mendocino County officials are hoping to educate the public about the potential of starting a local energy program in the future, known as a Community Choice Aggregation.
The discussion will continue with a public workshop in Ukiah at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors chambers at the County Administration Building.
County supervisors have been toying with the idea for over a year of whether to create a program in Mendocino County, or join another that has already been established. Sonoma Clean Power has been mentioned as a potential partner for the county. Read more in the Ukiah Daily Journal here.
