The Mendocino Energy Watch, a local government-utility partnership that provides support to jurisdictions in Mendocino and Lake Counties, received an honorable mention from the Pacific Southwest Regional Council of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials.
The Energy Watch was celebrated for its innovation and replicability in integrating housing and energy efficiency resources and its development of the Responsible Energy Awareness Practices (or “REAP”) Program.
The Mendocino Energy Watch is operated by Mendocino County’s Community Development Commission (CDCMC) and is the only housing authority to operate an Energy Watch Program.
