Project Coordinator: Energize Fresno

The Local Government Commission has an immediate full-time position for a Project Coordinator to support the the Energy and Climate Change sector. In particular, they are looking for someone to support the Energize Fresno projects.

Energize Fresno is a new initiative to catalyze innovation in alternative energy infrastructure and lower energy costs for households and small businesses while driving new economic opportunities in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the state. Funded by a California Energy Commission grant, Energize Fresno will develop a planning and funding platform to streamline local deployment of energy technologies to meet the state’s energy and climate goals.

Qualified Applicants should:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in an environmental or technical field, or related experience

  • Be highly detail-oriented and deadline conscious

  • Be dependable, accurate, and responsible

  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Work well independently as well as part of a team
