As reported by the Los Angeles Times: California’s push to develop more renewable energy, including solar and wind power, is creating well-paying jobs that are concentrated in economically distressed parts of the state, according to a new study released Tuesday.
The study finds that 25,500 blue-collar job-years have been added in clean energy between 2002-2015, with the greatest gains in Kern, San Bernardino, Riverside and Imperial Counties. Learn more from the Los Angeles Times here.
