The Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) released a publication highlighting efforts in four U.S. cities—New York City, Baltimore, Duluth, and San Francisco—to use solar and storage to strengthen resilience, advance renewable energy goals, and serve vulnerable neighborhoods during disasters. The publication features stories of resilient solar projects that demonstrate the power to improve the health and safety of communities, particularly those that are historically underserved and often most vulnerable to disaster.
