Moving from climate action plan development to implementation is a big step – a step that the City of San Diego is solidifying with its working group meeting today. The diverse working group – which includes San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Environmental Health Coalition, Circulate San Diego and the Building Industry Association – serves an advisory role to the City Council Environment Committee. San Diego adopted its climate action plan late 2015, and City staff are now working to release the implementation plan April 2016.
