News

Moving from climate action plan development to implementation is a big step – a step that the City of San Diego is solidifying with its working group meeting today. The diverse working group – which includes San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Environmental Health Coalition, Circulate San Diego and the Building Industry Association – serves an advisory role to the City Council Environment Committee. Strategies the working group will discuss include water & energy efficient buildings, clean & renewable energy, bicycling, walking, transit & land use, zero waste, and climate resiliency.
