School district to save $15.3M with new energy efficiency program

“California’s Escalon Unified School District recently completed a 1.2 MW solar photovoltaic and integrated energy efficiency and STEM education initiative.

Along with its partner, Oakland, CA-based energy partner ENGIE Services U.S., Escalon Unified leadership commemorated the completion of construction and implementation of the district-wide energy program. Through the collaborative partnership with ENGIE Services U.S., Escalon’s energy upgrade represents a new approach to enhancing the learning environment, both inside and outside of the classroom. The program is expected to generate $15.3 million in energy savings.”
