The City of Sunnyvale has released an app to the community focused on tracking energy efficiency and environmental actions. IGreen Sunnyvale was developed through a partnership with Raleigh app developer JouleBug, and enables Sunnyvale community members to track activities like riding a bike, avoiding waste, and reducing energy use. The app also connects users to resources and additional information on environment and energy. To learn more, visit the IGreen Sunnyvale app home page, or check out a story on the release by Mercury News.
The app’s development is part of the City’s participation in the Georgetown University Energy Prize.
