Learn about the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG)’s Green Building Challenge, kicked off in September 2015 and underway through August 2016, below!
Overview:
The South Bay Cities Green Building Challenge program is designed to help businesses reduce energy, water, and waste – while improving quality of life and making our community more attractive to work, live, and play. There isn’t a community in the United States that doesn’t want to improve sustainability. But actually changing behavior and improving infrastructure requires bringing together the right resources, removing barriers, and getting people to work together. We launched the South Bay Cities Challenge program to engage the business community and scale sustainability by providing an online platform with resources and the opportunity to be recognized by earning points for taking action.
