Climate Pollution Reduction Grants

The Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program provides grants to states, local governments, tribes, and territories to develop and implement plans for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other harmful air pollution. This two-staged grant program provided funding of $250 million for noncompetitive planning grants, and $4.6 billion for competitive implementation grants.

The Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Program: Implementation Grants General Competition – applications were due by April 1, 2024, with an optional notice of intent to apply due by February 1, 2024.

The Climate Pollution Reduction Grants Program: Implementation Grants Competition for Tribes and Territories – applications are due by May 1, 2024, with an optional notice of intent to apply due by March 1, 2024.
