15th Annual California Climate and Energy Collaborative Forum

The CCEC Forum brings together several hundred local government staff, elected officials, and community organizations, to collaborate and learn from each other as they work to advance fair and equitable climate change and energy practices.
This event will feature engaging sessions, expert plenaries and keynotes, and new innovative activities to help climate and energy leaders and practitioners connect to learn about innovative projects and strategies, share best practices, and troubleshoot challenges.
The 15th Annual CCEC Forum will bring together local leaders in energy and climate action for 2-days for in-depth conversations between local and regional governments, and their partners in State agencies, CBOs, NGOs, and private sector service providers. As we celebrate the 15th year of the CCEC Forum, we see that the strong connections and partnerships we’ve fostered together have provided us with the pivotal opportunity to cultivate our climate action toward its full potential right now. Integrating our 2024 theme of “Collective Innovation: Cultivating Collaboration for Equitable Climate Action”, we will explore innovative ideas and best practices for collaboration, increasing accessibility for disadvantaged communities, and implementing climate action across sectors.

The CCEC Forum fills a crucial need for local governments, community organizations and local leaders of all kinds to share experience and wisdom toward creating a more just, resilient and sustainable future. The future is being built today from the bottom up, through the efforts of local leaders focused on meeting the real needs and priorities of their communities. But we can’t just work in isolation. We need effective, inclusive venues to come together, share strategies and learnings, and support one another. The CCEC Forum facilitates both valuable networking and great fun.
CCEC is a must-attend conference for local government climate and sustainability professionals and one I always make sure to put on my calendar!
I always look forward to CCEC because you get to see your peers and get inspired by all the great work they do. I end the conference full of great ideas to replicate and proud of learning what everyone accomplished.
This year’s theme of investment, innovation, and inclusion was well-timed and relevant. The plenaries, panels and breakout sessions were rich with information and expertise related to the conference theme.
Coming out of the pandemic this conference was refreshing and timely. I enjoyed connecting and reconnecting with all in-person and hearing about all the innovative work we have been doing in the energy policy and programs statewide.
The CCEC Forum is an inspiring and engaging conference to learn from local leaders driving the clean energy transition in California. This is where climate and energy champions connect on the most pressing issues of our time, providing insights into what it takes to move the needle to a low-carbon economy.
As a newcomer to the industry, CCEC was an incredible opportunity to network with longtime professionals while learning the most modern and state-of-the-art approaches to the clean energy transition in California.

The 13th Annual CCEC Forum provided much-needed resources that will help further our Climate Action and Sustainability efforts, as well as encouraging, inspiring and uplifting networking opportunities.
