Displaced Oil and Gas Worker Fund (DOGWF) Grant for Program Year 2023-24

The Employment Development Department, in coordination with the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency (LWDA), announced the availability of up to $36.5 million from the State of California General Fund for the Displaced Oil and Gas Workers Fund (DOGWF) Intermediary grant opportunity for PY 23-24.

The principal goal of this SFP was to research, design, and implement projects that facilitate the Just Transition of Oil and Gas workers away from their current or former occupations into High Road career pathways in industries that are more economically and environmentally sustainable.
