Existing Examples of Progress: Mount San Antonio College has integrated sustainability across all academic programs (history, finance, etc.), not just STEM. They embed climate and sustainability literacy into general education and are a model for higher ed alignment with green transition. West LA College’s Nature Nexus and Sustainability Department. They had the first dedicated sustainability-focused department among community college and offer education and training on clean energy, clean mobility and sustainability.
