The US DOE’s Interconnection Innovation e-Xchange partners with national labs, utilities, grid operators, state and local governments and others to share data, develop roadmaps, and facilitate new solutions to improve interconnection procedures. The DOE’s Distributed Energy Resource Interconnection Roadmap also compiles goals and solutions to increase data access, transparency, and security for interconnection, among other process improvements.
