Description

Local Solution
(Type of Activity: Policy/Planning/Land Use )

Align local feedback directly with action by designing planning processes that explicitly connect community input to specific decisions and deliverables — rather than treating community input as advisory.

Existing Examples of Progress: The Stanislaus Sustainable Communities Coalition responded to the City of Modesto using their community data without consent by producing a formal policy document that tied resident input directly to specific General Plan recommendations, shifting the coalition's role from advisory to accountable co-author.
Region: Central Coast, San Joaquin Valley
