Existing Examples of Progress: 1. The SSCC used a two-year $50,000 grant to run 11 community-led watch parties, hire a consultant, and produce a formal policy recommendations document that communities could bring to the General Plan process. 2. City of Arvin built a multi-year collaborative stakeholder structure with the City, KCCD, Cesar Chavez Foundation, Dolores Huerta Foundation, and residents that successfully secured $22.36M in AHSC funding after years of sustained coalition work.
