Existing Examples of Progress: The Pajaro Valley TCC proposed a safe streets program along Park Row into Watsonville using temporary and tactical infrastructure to establish a functional pedestrian network quickly and at lower cost; a practical approach in a community where Monterey County ranked third statewide for vehicle strikes on residents under 18.
