Description

Local Solution
(Type of Activity: Policy/Planning/Land Use )

Leverage Regional Partners and Aggregate Data to Support Transportation Electrification Planning. Local governments work through CCAs, MPOs, and regional energy networks to coordinate EV charging and fleet electrification, engage utilities at scale, aggregate demand, and apply regional or proxy datasets when site-specific utility data is unavailable. This regional approach strengthens local capacity and enables planning despite data access constraints.

Existing Examples of Progress: The Center for Sustainable Energy’s public dashboards tracking EV incentives and charger installations statewide, which help local agencies see where funding has (and hasn’t) flowed, providing a data-driven foundation for equitable infrastructure planning.
Region: Statewide
